PMVB / PoconosVRO Update on Tourism and STR

Chris Barrett, President/CEO at Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau will present an update on the tourism industry in the Poconos and discuss how vacation rentals are a key component to the local economy.  Vacation rentals generated $417,315,980 in bookings in 2022, the tax revenue from this is 9%. Nearly 1.8 million nights were booked in 2022 representing a significant portion of all guests who stay in the Poconos.  Chris will share some insight into trends and take questions from members.
